PATENT UPDATE: On February 6, 2012, the United States Patent & Trademark Office issued a notice of allowance for our Heat Flow Polymerase Chain Reaction patent. The patent (US Pat. No. 8,153,374) covers our core technology and was officially published on April 10, 2012. A link to the full patent text is available on our Technology page.

Our company created, patented, and owns the next generation of quantitative, real-time PCR (qPCR) technology. Heat Flow Polymerase Chain Reaction (HF-PCR™) is a novel, user-friendly, and cost-effective method of qPCR analysis poised to transform and expand the qPCR market.

Our HF-PCR™ device, FireCycler™, is designed to meet the needs of existing qPCR market customers, while being more cost-effective in terms of devices and assays. In addition, our technology will make qPCR practical and cost effective for clinical laboratories and point-of-care (POC) customers for the first time.

We are based in Seattle, Washington, and are currently testing our first FireCycler™ prototype in preparation for assay development. For more information about our HF-PCR™ and FireCycler™, please see the Technology page of this website. To contact us, please see our Contact page.
