HeatFlow Technologies™ Inc. is a biotechnology company in Seattle, Washington working to develop its novel and proprietary technology, HeatFlow™ Polymerase Chain Reaction (HF-PCR™). HeatFlow PCR™ simplifies PCR instrumentation and reagents by removing the complex, sensitive, and costly fluorescent components of current realtime quantitative PCR. HeatFlow Technologies™ and its partners are committed to the development of point-of-care clinical diagnostics and low-cost realtime qPCR systems and techniques that will move PCR to new dimensions and markets.

In the first quarter of 2010, HeatFlow Technologies™ gained the advice of Joseph P. Whitford at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. Joe Whitford and his firm have extensive experience in emerging company finance. We began construction of our first prototype: a modification of a PerkinElmer GeneAmp 9600 into a 24-well DTA HF-PCR™ device.

In the second quarter 2010, HeatFlow Technologies™ filed the registration of its trademarks with the US Patent and Trademark Office. Firecycler™ will be our first production system implementing HF-PCR™ technology in a DTA HF-PCR™ device format.
